The most beautiful Tornado scene!!

Friends there is a survey that every 3 days some country feels earthquake, cyclone or many disasters. And every year more than one million people died on these disasters.

This Tornado destroy millions of houses and lives. It was one of the most horrible Tornado of the decades. But when it comes it looks beautiful. That's why people call that tornado is most beautiful Tornado ever.

A horrible -Uncensored - Tsunami scene

Sometimes some incident we can't forget. Some disasters like  Tsunami, Earthquake just destroy our lives, property and dreams.

Its really a horrible video. And really we should afraid of Almighty.

Earthquake video from home !!!

It is the earthquake video scene of  Sichuan China. You can learn from here that how can you save yourself from earthquake at home.

If we can take corrective action in the time of earthquake we may save our lives. You should hide yourself under the heavy table, bed or the pillar of your buildings.

Tsunami - The Horrible video!!!!

Earthquake, Flood, Cyclone, Tornado these are the common disaster in whole world. But in 2004 the Indian ocean earthquake which create Tsunami and effected to 14 countries and rapidly effected in Indonesia has changed the disasters view. Its about 230,000 people killed and the loss of property just out of imagine. In Suasana Sesaat Setelah Jempa the Tsunami attack first. And we just can not imagine it was really a horrible view. Just Watch it

That was the Tsunami which change the whole world's climate situation. It shocked the whole world's people. Many families, many peoples dreams just destroyed within a minute. It seems like that may be a film shooting.

After earthquake scientist found something strange!!!!!

The world is really amazing. Sometimes it shows many different thing and remember us about our birth and it really make us sure that one day we have to go to the Almighty. In 2006 after Japan earthquake scientist found the oldest and longest Skeletal of the history. Its almost 100 feet long. And its may be 1000 years ago's skeletal.

This skeletal really makes us strange and it means in many years ago there was a lot of long people... !!! The Muslims claim that in Holy - Quran said about Aad and Samud nation, and they was 100++ feet long and lived many years!!!
So the world really found something strange and old.

Facilitating Measures for Disasters

A qualitative Disaster management system can bring may improvement. But we have to take the steps with effective way. With the Intervention measures we have to take also the Facilitating Measure.

Facilitating Measures:

  • Capacity building for integrating Climate Change in planning, designing of infrastructure, conflict management and land-water zoning for water management institutions.
  • Exploring options for insurance and other emergency preparedness measures to cope with enhanced climatic disasters (e.g. flood, cyclones and drought).
  • Mainstreaming adaptation for climate change into policies and program in different sectors (focusing on disaster management, water, agriculture, health and industry).
  • Inclusion of climate change issues in curriculum at secondary and tertiary educational institution.
  • Climate change and adaptation information dissemination to vulnerable community to raise awareness.

  • Promotion of research on drought, flood and saline tolerant varieties of crops to facilitate adaption in future.
  • Development of eco-specific adaptive knowledge on adaptation to climate variability to enhance adaptive capacity for future climate change.

Key expectation from the global community is that equity is ensured, justice delivered, and commitments are adequate and in time while compensating climate victims, climate refugees, and helping those vulnerable to cope with climate challenges. Climate risk management and adaptation is a survival as well as development concern. The international community should keep the unity and commitment. Because an equitable regime that proactively applies " precautionary" and "no regrets principal while funding adaptation needs and priorities.  Adverse climate impacts already have claimed hard earned development gains and benefits in many countries. Adaptation and management of climate risks must be integrated within each country's development and planning process, at every level. The government, development partners and private sector will all need to mainstream climate risk management into their portfolio. Applying both precautionary and no regrets principles support adaptation funding is really important and can prove something better for our Disaster management in the whole world.

Disaster Control Measures

Now a days environment pollution is really important topic. Water, Air etc pollution is common and natural. We should take steps for prevent all kind of pollution. Nationally and internationally all countries should take steps for prevent the pollution.

Intervention measure:

  • Promoting adaptation to coastal crop agriculture to combat salinity intrusion through maize production under Wet Bed No-tillage Method and Sorjan System of cropping in tidally flooded agro-ecosystem. (For the south Asian countries)
  • The agriculture based country should adapt agricultural systems in areas prone to enhanced fish flooding-North East and Central Region through no-tillage potato cultivation under water hyacinth mulch in wet sown condition, and vegetable cultivation on floating bed.
  • Promoting adaptation to coastal fisheries through culture of salt tolerant fish especially in coastal areas of Bangladesh.
  • Adaptation to fisheries in areas prone to enhanced flooding in North East and Central Region through adaptive and diversified fish culture practices. (Specially of poor countries)
  • Construction of flood shelter, and information and assistance center to cope with enhanced recurrent floods in major floodplains. Specially for India and Bangladesh because these are the most flood effected countries in world.
  • Reduction of climate change hazards through coastal afforestation with community focus.

  • Providing drinking water to coastal communities to combat enhanced salinity due to sea level rise.
  • Enhancing resilience of urban infrastructure and industries to impacts of climate change including floods and cyclone.
So taking these steps we can hope that disaster can be minimized or prevent.

Global warming and Green House effect

The increasing heat on earth causes for some fundamental changes. It causes on world's season and it hampers the continues season serial.  That's why we faces over rainfall, cyclone, flood, tornado etc. It costs thousands of lives and property. The effected people getting poor. In last decades for green house effect the ration of carbon die oxide increased 25%, Nitrogenous oxide increased 19% and Methane increased 100% that really increasing global warming. Basically the whole earth's climate is created with different types of gases. The major gas ingredient is Nitrogen and Methane gas. Others are Nitro oxide and Carbon die oxide. Basically the winter based countries create a home with glass and they harvest many types of vegetables in the glass house. That called green house. The make the glass house for green house effect.

For the house the sun rays and heat enter in the house but when it reflect then the whole heat cannot pass through the glass. That's why the temperature of the house is more then natural temperature. Last decades and in last 200 years when the industrial revolution began from that time the climate become polluted. That's why the air temperature increasing day by day. For the increasing temperature the gases increasing in the environment and we faces green house effects.

The importance of Climate change

First of all we should know why climate change is so important? specially for the Southern part of earth and over populated countries of earth.
The global climate is changing and it is likely to change further over coming decades due to increasing concentrations of 'greenhouse gases' in the earth's atmosphere caused largely by human activities.
This is the resulting in greater variations in weather patterns, a greater frequency of extreme weather events such as floods, droughts and tropical storms, and gradual rises in average temperatures and sea-level.

The southern part of earth is extremely vulnerable to climate change impacts because of its geographical location, historically disaster prone, high population density, high levels of poverty and the reliance of many livelihoods on climate-sensitive sectors, particular rural agriculture and fisheries.

The consequence of the climate change and variability are having two long-term impacts, one is through increased and intensified extreme events with potential to damage infrastructure, life and livelihoods and on the other hand are impacting all spheres of natural productivity through slow onset of degradation because of erratic behavior of precipitation and temperature regime, salinity, dryness etc.

Knowledge network on Climate Change

The climate change cell is developing a climate change knowledge network aiming to collect, analyzed and disseminate climate change related data. So this network the climate change cell collects and collates information on climate risks and adaptation options, and disseminates the results and support the translation and communication of information into a format useful to government line departments, local government and NGOs working with vulnerable communities.

Now the matter is what does the climate change cell do? For this purpose we should take some steps like as:
  • Facilitate capacity building of stakeholders
  • Build partnership with government agencies NGOs, academics and private sectors
  • Make sure effective participation of community
  • Promote adaptation in development planning and processes
  • Discuss Risk management and adaptation options through research
  • Assess climate risks through modeling projections and community perception.
Moreover climate change therefore threatens both previous achievements and future efforts to reduce poverty of a country to date, particularly by reducing water and food security and damage to essential infrastructure during more frequent disaster event.

Measures should taken for Climate Change Cell's work program

Now a days this is a very important concern for the scientist and for the researchers. The climate change cell's work program focuses on some main areas:

  • Build the capacity of Government to coordinate and integration climate change issue in mainstream development activities across government. It also acts as a secretariat to coordinate other national climate change activities such as National communication preparation process, the clean development mechanism for all country specially the poverty full and populated poor country.
  • Strengthen existing knowledge and availability of information on impact prediction and adaptation to climate change. This includes synchronizing and synthesizing existing studies, and filling gaps, as well as improving information exchange between science and policy-makers.
  •  Raise awareness, advocacy and coordination with partners across government, NGOs, civil society, private organization and donor organizations. Using a variety of mechanism and information products, the climate change cell is working to promote the integration of climate change adaptation and risk reduction in development plannings, especially within climate sensitive sectors and the disaster risk reduction process.

Protection and Preservation of the Environment

The continuing degradation of the environment is now a matter of alarm in all countries of world specially of south Asia. South Asia is one of the most disaster prone region in the world. The region is annually exposed to heavy rainstorm brought down by the two monsoons. Environmental issues have come to the fore all across the world in the last two decades. Environmental concern, in their modern form, have been growing rapidly even within the countries of South Asia.

Information exchange on low-cost and environmentally sound habitat related technologies:

Modern housing, sanitation, waste disposal and water treatment systems are so capital-intensive that large parts of the poor populations of South Asian countries do not have access to them. If environment conditions in urban and rural settlements are to be improved and basic health and housing housing needs of the people are to be met, then low-cost and environmentally-sound alternatives ought to be developed. A few countries in the world have undertaken research and development programs to develop suitable technologies.

Participation of women and children in environment:
Environmental destruction invariably affects women adversely whose work burden increases enormously and threatens both their own health and of their children. Past experience has shown that women play a crucial role in environmental regeneration and protection, demographic change and family health management.

The development of modern disaster warning systems:
The impact of disasters can be greatly reduced by developing effective advance warning systems. Use of satellite based communication systems can take disaster warning message straight to threatened communities through specially designed systems. At present the meteorological and hydro logical data being collected is inadequate to give timely warning and communication systems are often inappropriate for rapid transmission and dissemination of information to decision makers and to the threatened population.

Disaster Risk Reduction

Every nation and every country should introduced disaster risk reduction program. If you are conscious then your nation will be conscious. The consciousness should starts at home. Some steps should taken like:

  • Children are among the most vulnerable population group during a disaster, especially those attending school at the time of the catastrophe. During disasters, school buildings are destroyed, taking away the precious lives of children and teachers and stalling access to education in the aftermath of disaster. Rebuilding these schools can take years and is very costly.
  • Learning about disaster risk in primary and secondary school help children play an important role in saving lives and protecting members of the community in times of disaster. Making disaster risk education an integral part of the national school curriculum helps to build greater awareness of the issues across entire communities.
  • In addition to their essential role in formal education, schools must also protect children in the event of natural hazard. Investing in strengthening school structures before a disaster occurs long-term costs, protects generations of children and ensures educational continuity after the event.
These will make the children conscious. Disaster risk education empowers children and helps build grater awareness of the issue in communities.
After taking these steps we can hope for a good result.
  • Increased awareness on the positive impacts of school safety and disaster risk education in school.
  • Increased action and use of good practices to mobilize coalitions and partnerships, facilitate south-south exchanges, build capacity and guide others to existing resources for training in the area of disaster risk education and school safety.
  • Local and national governments investment in safer school facilities and mainstreaming of disaster risk education into national school curricula.

Regional Cooperation and Responding to the Challenge

Climate change is a development concern with severe implications in the whole world specially South Asia. All countries in the South Asia are already affected by adverse climate impacts. The costs of extreme weather, including floods, droughts and storms, are already rising. Countries in the South Asia and North Asia need to prepare from now to manage what is unavoidable, and avoid the unmanageable. The south Asian Countries, particular the poorest in the countries, are already suffering from negative impact due to extreme events and variability. Changes are already having major impacts on the South Asian economies and on the lives and livelihoods of millions of poor people.

Climate impacts will affect the entire population of the whole world in the coming decades, in one form or the other. Sustainable Development is understood as improvement in well-being of people, environment and economy. Development must ensure reducing the risks posed by climate change to people's lives ad livelihoods. Development itself serves as a key to adaption by enhancing resilience and increasing capacity to respond effectively to climatic challenges. On the other hand, adaptation is vital for development and progress and reduces costs of natural disasters. Ultimately, adaption to climate change requires economy wide planning and regional cooperation. The links between development and adaption has implications for official development assistance, both in terms of scale and focus. Equity warrants assistance from developed countries as main source of polluters who should compensate for the costs incurred to climate change victims in developing countries particularly the poor and already vulnerable suffering for what they are not responsible.

All these efforts and challenge can bring some result when you can get a really beautiful environment with less disaster. Because we can not stop the disasters but we can stop the pollution and disasters which make by human.

Global warming makes the world worse

Over the last century the level of carbon dioxide has increased by 25 percent, the level of nitro oxide by 19 percent and the level of methane by 100 percent. These are the three major global warming gases. Over the past 100 years, the earth's average surface temperature has risen by around 0.74 DC, with the warming greater over land regions than over the oceans. The rate of warming averaged over the last 50 years is nearly twice the rate for the last 100 year. The late 1990s and the early 21st century have featured the warmest years since modern records began. A further warming of about 0.2DC is projected for each of the next two decades. Scientist say the world needs to cut emission of global warming gases by 50 to 70 percent just to stabilize the level of gases already in the atmosphere. However, emission of these gases are projected to continue rising in the coming decades. Scientist has projected that stabilizing atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases responsible for accelerated global warming must happen as early as possible to prevent the temperature to rise at a level that triggers dangerous climate. A 2 degree Centigrade rise in the global mean temperature by the end of this century has been considered a possibility by many researches and future scenarios of impact according to different increases in global mean temperature are now being produced illustrating effects and consequences in different part of the world.

However, very small changes in the temperature, rainfall or sea level rise can lead to severe consequences for a country already stressed environmentally, socially and economically. Also, the variations can be quite significant when downscale for a location. In addition, there may be more than one impact at any given period which can lead to grave circumstances. Further, climate change induced impacts may trigger a chain of consequences due to non-climate activities and their outcomes.

Natural Disasters

Natural disaster an unknown thing that we couldn't stop it. We just can take the current steps for its protection. Natural disaster is a big issue in the sector of world environment. We can stop or prevent the pollution but we have nothing to do with the natural disasters. Many disaster's cause until not found. The major natural disasters in the recent world is earthquake, flood, Tsunamis, Drought, Tornadoes etc. Basically natural disasters are really a consequence of natural hazards. It causes to a heavy loss of human life as like as environmental and financial.
Some natural disasters really changed our human life in history.

In 2004 the world's most damaged disaster was Tsunami, held was Indian ocean earthquake and its costs 229000 lives peoples (approximation). This was the first biggest shocking disaster in 2000 decades.

In 2005 the Kashmir Earthquake the magnitude was 7.7-7.9 which cost 79000 lives in Pakistan. This was the most shocking thing in 2000 decades.

At firstly 1906 the San Francisco Earthquake was really a hazard of the Nigh teen decades.

Like above disasters there are many natural disasters that changed our history.
